While we want to teach your children about God we know that no one has more influence than you. We want to partner with you to direct your kids toward God. Here are a few ways we wish to do that: Montly Parent Cue cards (or email) cuing you on what your child is learning at KONNECT and giving you ideas and activities you can do at home to reinforce them. The Parent Cue Ap-check it out for cool activities you can do togehter, the song of the month, a podcast just for you and much more! Cue Box- a box you can purchase for $10 each month for your elementary school aged child.  This box is filled with a cool sitcom, fun application tool or widget, poster, trading cards, meal time discussion topics and much more--all pointing back to the virtue we're studying that month. The average child will spend over 1000 hours every year in school and they will spend less than 50 hours in church.  The average parent has more than 10 times the opportunities to discuss spiritual issues in one year than a church leader does in 10 years.  The church has limited potential to impact the heart of your child. WHAT HAPPENS AT HOME in many ways is more important than what happens at church!  So lets partner together and show a generation who God is!

1-2-3 Discipline Procedure

Everyone's safety and enjoyment is important! In the event that a child shows inappropriate behaviour the following simple procedure will be followed:

1st Time
The child will receive a warning.

2nd Time
The child will be taken to the hallway and explained the expected acceptable behaviour by the Area Leader.

3rd Time
The child's parent/guardian will be contacted and the child will leave the Sunday School program for the remainder of that day. This will be done in consultation with the program director.

Child Wellness Policy

For the protection of all our children, please do not bring your children to class if they exhibit any of the following:

  • Fever in the last 24 hours
  • Vomiting or diarrhea in the last 24 hours
  • Common cold (onset through one week)
  • Any unexplained rash
  • Cloudy or green runny nose
  • Pink eye or other eye infections
  • Persistent cough
  • Any communicable disease
  • Any symptoms of common childhood diseases, such as chicken pox, strep throat, etc.
